We can't wait to see you at The Prout School's 26th Annual Spring Auction. Our theme is the Roaring 20's, especially appropriate since we'll be in a new location, Ochre Court, certainly the site of many lively parties in the 1920's. Built in 1892, Ochre Court is the second largest mansion in Newport, second only to The Breakers.
This is our school's largest and most important fundraiser of the year when our entire community comes together to have fun and raise money for the best possible cause, our students! Our goal is to raise $60,000 this year!
Tickets are $75.00 each.
Admission includes a complimentary beer and wine cocktail hour from 6:30 to 7:30pm. This year we're encouraging mingling by having a mix of high-top and low-top tables. Going for more of a cocktail party vibe than a traditional sit-down supper. We'll have plentiful appetizers all night, and you'll be able to eat when you want at two awesome food stations:
- A slider station featuring pork BBQ sliders, short rib sliders, eggplant parmesan sliders, and lump crab sliders with remoulade.
- A mac & cheese station with amazingly "adult" toppings: chopped lobster, crispy pancetta, buffalo popcorn chicken and steamed broccoli.
A dessert and coffee bar will complete the meal. A full cash bar is available throughout the night.
The evening also features lots of interactive games, fun raffles, and laughter. This is not your typical sit-at-the-same-table-all-night event. It's actually fun! You'll bid for silent auction items with your smartphone which is really easy and -- fair warning -- highly addictive!
